Zallito, Humanim, Inc. The Baltimore Employment Roundtable's final meeting of 2003 provided an opporutnity for members to reflect on the past year's accomplishments. Among these accomplishments were seven information sessions on a variety of workforce issues, and the development of a partnership with Career Caravan, BWI Business Partnership's reverse commute program. Members also discussed plans for Roundtable meetings in 2004. In addition to expressing the need to expand Roundtable membership and explore professional development opportunities, members suggested the following topics for furture information sessions:
Job Opportunities Task Force provided each member with the Baltimore Employment Roundtable Resource Manual 2003, a compilation of resources gleaned from the Roundtable's 2003 meetings, which is designed to assist workforce practitioners in better serving their clients by providing information on topics ranging from criminal record expungement to federal tax credits to tools for worplace accommodations for disabled employees.
